The Story Behind The Build
I’m gearing up to start a full frame-off reimagination of my 1990 Dodge W250. Rebuilding the original 12-valve Cummins from the ground up and giving the truck a fresh, custom paint job, done entirely by me. I’ll also be adding one-of-a-kind graphics under the hood and across the firewall to make sure this build stands out from anything else on the road or the show floor.
One of my biggest goals for this project is to have the truck featured in a sponsor’s booth at SEMA. It’s a bold dream, I know, but you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. This build is about more than creating a showstopper. I first painted this truck when I was 17, and it’s what inspired me to chase my passion and launch my own custom paint business, Crazy K Kustomz, straight out of high school in 2023. It was a huge risk, but I bet on myself, and two years later, my business is still growing strong.
This truck isn’t just another build. It’s a symbol of where I started and the journey that’s brought me to where I am today.
